God’s Table: Mission Highlight

God’s Table is an ecumenical program, run in partnership with Community Cooperavative located at Chapel by the Sea on Fort Myers Beach, that offers Christian fellowship to all. Volunteers gather to welcome the needy and homeless to a safe place where food is shared; clothing is provided; assistance is offered; and where dignity and God’s love are extended. All of the services are provided by caring volunteers who share a common goal of helping those who have had temporary setbacks to get back on their feet and enjoy living productive lives.

The services provided by God’s Table are offered to the homeless and needy, including the underemployed, living on Fort Myers Beach and the surrounding areas. This program is housed at Chapel by the Sea and is an ecumenical effort of the community, extending Christian fellowship to all.

In addition a Family Health Center Homeless Clinic is on site every Friday (except holidays) at 7:30 am to aid persons who meet certain criteria (without Medicaid/Medicare). A Nurse Practitioner sees patients and Pharmacy/Prescription services are available.
